How many electric vehicles were sold in 2018?
I’m thinking about investing in some EV (electric vehicles) stocks and was wondering how many electric cars were sold in 2018?

sales are definitely climbing and looking at the difference between 2017 to 2018 is the proof in the pudding. In 2018 they jumped up to 2.1 million units sold worldwide, a massive, 64% increase from 2017!Here’s a breakdown of the growth by the leading countries of EV sales:
- China’s EV sales increased 78% for a total of 1.2 million units sold.
- Europe added 34% growth for a total of 409,000 units sold.
- US sales increased 79% but only accounted for a total of 358,000 units sold.
