How far can an electric Smart Car go?

EVs don’t typically have much driving range, but I’m considering getting a smart car because it’s compact but still functional. How far can an electric smart car go?

An electric
Smart
Fortwo vehicle can drive about 58 miles (93 km) on a full charge.
58 miles may not seem like a huge range, but it’s almost twice what the average American drives each day. It might work for you!
Here are some perks of electric cars like the Smart Fortwo:
  • Compact: They don’t take up much space.
  • Impact: They don’t emit as much carbon.
  • Cost: They’re smaller and cheaper (but they’re only available used now).
The Fortwo has a smaller frame and lighter battery, so you’ll get an impressive range.
You could also opt for a larger electric vehicle like a Tesla, which has a much larger and heavier battery. However, Tesla has a much smaller range at less than half of the average driving range. As a result, Tesla is much better suited for city driving than long-distance trips.
