. That said, you should never reset your light before fixing your problem. The maintenance light is there to remind you of your car’s needs. Turning it off early may cause bigger problems down the road.Once you do have your car looked at, follow these steps to reset the maintenance light on your 2018
Toyota Corolla
:- Turn your Corolla on, but don’t start the engine.
- Find the Trip Reset button by the odometer.
- Hold it down until you see Trip A appear on the screen.
- Turn the car to the off position.
- Turn the car back on, without starting the engine, and hold the Trip Reset button until your odometer flashes 0.
- From there, the light should reset, and your odometer should go back to normal.
Hopefully, these steps will help you turn off the maintenance light in your Toyota. But if you’re still struggling to reset the light, check your owner’s manual for further instructions. If that doesn’t work, you can always bring your car to a dealer and have them reset it for you.
