My windshield wiper blades have started to fade and crack a little, but I don’t think I actually need to replace them yet. How do you recondition wiper blades?

Excellent question! You can, in fact, extend the lifespan of your wiper blades by regularly reconditioning them once they start to dry out—the easiest way is to simply soak them in a solution of water and white vinegar.
Simply remove the rubber wiper blades from the wiper arms and let them soak in a bowl of water and white vinegar for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the wiper blades from the bowl and let them dry before reattaching them to the wiper arms.
You can also use a silicone lubricant on your wiper blades to keep them in good condition. If you decide to go this route, all you have to do is remove the blades, wipe them down with the silicone lubricant, and let them dry for 15 minutes.
Hope this helps!
