How do you put a GMC Terrain in neutral?

I recently bought a newer GMC Terrain and noticed it doesn’t have a traditional gear shift. All of my previous cars did, so I’m unsure how to use this one. How do you put it in neutral?

To put your GMC Terrain in neutral, you’ll want to locate the button or switch labeled with an “N.” It should be on the center console somewhere near the infotainment screen.
Bring your vehicle to a stop, then press the “N” button (or pull the switch toward you, if it’s a switch rather than a button). Newer model GMC Terrain’s have Electronic Precision Shift which means that instead of a stick gear shift, you’ll have some buttons or switches for things like Park and Neutral.
This should put your vehicle in neutral. To switch out of neutral, just depress the brake and push the “N” button again.
