How do you program a Toyota Sienna garage door opener?

I’m subletting a house out while the owner is away for the summer. How can I program my Toyota Sienna to open the garage door of the house I’m renting?

Since newer model
Toyota Siennas
 come with HomeLink buttons, programming them to open your garage door is a breeze.
Here’s what you need to do:
  • Grab your garage door remote and hold it 1 to 3 inches away from your HomeLink buttons
  • Press the remote button and HomeLink button you want to program and hold
  • Release the buttons when the HomeLink indicator light changes from blinking slowly to rapidly
  • Find the “Learn” or “Train” button on your garage door motor. Press this button firmly
  • Climb back in your vehicle and press the programmed HomeLink button and hold for two seconds. Keep repeating this step until the garage door opens
