How do you program a Honda Pilot garage door opener?

I bought a Honda Pilot a few days ago, and while I was at the dealership, I forgot to ask them how to sync up my garage door opener to my car. I have a newer garage with a remote opener, and I just want to know how to program my Honda Pilot garage door opener.

Programming your garage door opener in your Honda Pilot is easy–just take your existing garage door opener, select which of the three garage door buttons you’d like to program it to, and hold down both of the buttons for a few seconds and to pair them.
When you press the button on the Honda garage door opener, you should see a small blinking red light inside of the house icon. You will know if your remote is pairing properly if, while holding both garage openers down simultaneously, you notice the blinking light starts flashing quicker than before.
All that’s left to do is to test out your garage door opener in your Honda Pilot to see if it works. Make sure your car is fully out of the way of the garage door, otherwise you may accidentally damage your car and have to be on the phone for hours with your insurance agency.
Or, if you’d rather avoid the call entirely and save money while you’re at it, consider switching insurance companies using the
