How do you program a garage door opener for a Jeep Wrangler?
My friend was telling me that you can connect your garage door opener to your vehicle but I don’t know how to set it up. How do you program the garage door opener in a Jeep Wrangler?

You can program your garage door opener to save you time and prevent garage door opener theft from your vehicle!
- Find the Homelink system above your rearview mirror
- Hold your door opener close to the Homelink system
- Select a button on the system to use as your new door opener, and press it while simultaneously pressing down on your current door opener
- Press and hold both buttons for about 10 seconds
- The EVIC on your Jeep should display the word “training”. Wait until the display says “trained” to stop holding both buttons
You’ve learned how to program your garage door opener to your Jeep. To test out the connection, make sure your garage door is fully closed and press the button you programmed inside your Jeep. If you programmed it correctly, your door should open!
