Apple CarPlay availability depends on which version of Chrysler’s infotainment platform, Uconnect, your vehicle has. You can access Apple CarPlay if your Chrysler has a Uconnect 5 system or a Uconnect 4 system with a 7-inch, 8.4-inch, or 12-inch touchscreen. Vehicles with a Uconnect 5 system support wireless integration but Uconnect 4 systems do not.

How to enable Apple CarPlay in a Chrysler Pacifica
For owners of Chrysler Pacificas from the 2018 through 2023 model years, using CarPlay is simple. First, ensure that you are using an iPhone 5 or newer with iOS 7.1 or newer. Next, connect your iPhone using a lightning cable. Once your Pacifica detects that your phone has been connected, the Apple CarPlay screen will appear automatically. If it doesn’t, you can select the Apple CarPlay logo on your Uconnect screen.
If your Pacifica uses uConnect 5, you have the option to enable CarPlay wirelessly. Wireless connection requires an iPhone 5 or newer with iOS 9.1 or newer. To connect wirelessly, ensure that WiFi and Bluetooth are enabled on your iPhone. Next, on your Chrysler Pacifica’s touch screen follow Apps > Device Manager > Add Device.
