How do you program a 2020 Ram 1500 garage door opener?
I just got a new truck and want to park it in my garage. Can you tell me how to program a 2020 Ram 1500 garage door opener?

Dodge Ram 1500
garage door opener is a fairly simple job. Here’s what you need to do: - Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the ON position
- Place your hand-held garage door opener within three inches of the HomeLink button you want to program
- At the same time, press and hold both the HomeLink button you want to program and the garage door opener button
- Hold both buttons until your truck’s electronic display changes from “CHANNEL # TRAINING” to “CHANNEL # TRAINED”, then release both buttons
- Inside your garage, go to the garage door opener motor, then locate the learn or training button
- Firmly press then release the button
- Go back to your truck and press the programmed HomeLink button twice (holding the button for two seconds each time). Do this within 30 seconds.
- Within three seconds, turn the key to the off position to end programming mode
If you successfully completed programming your HomeLink button, your truck’s display should say “CHANNEL # TRANSMIT”.
