How do you open the gas tank on a Chrysler Town and Country?
I just got a new Town and Country and am still learning all of the vehicle’s buttons and functions. How do I access the gas tank?

Congratulations on your new car! The Chrysler Town and Country is equipped with a “push style” filler door, which means accessing the gas tank doesn’t require a special button or lever.
All you have to do is press the gas tank door itself, and it will pop open. However, keep in mind that you must press the correct place—on the right edge, near the center. If you imagine that the circular door looks like a clock face, you’ll want to press about where the three would be. If you’ve tried this and it’s not working, it might be time for a trip to the mechanic. Broken hardware can prevent the door from functioning properly.
Once the door opens, there will be no need to unscrew a gas cap, as there isn’t one! Simply pump your gasoline and gently press the door shut to seal it again.
If your door isn’t properly sealed, you’ll notice the check engine light popping up on your dashboard shortly after driving away.
