Opening the hood of your car can be tricky to figure out but it becomes a breeze once you’ve done it a few times. Here’s what you need to do to open a
Hyundai Veloster
hood:- Pull the hood release lever located on the bottom left-hand wall of the driver’s side to pop the hood of the car. This lever will be parallel to the brake pedal.
- Walk around to the front of the car and slide your fingers in the gap between the hood and the car body. You’re feeling around for a metal lever—this will be directly above the front bumper’sHyundaiemblem.
- Once you’ve found the lever, push it to the left with your fingers. Use your other hand to raise the hood as you’re pushing the lever in.
- Lift the kickstand and insert the foot of it into the notch on the rim of the hood. This will keep the hood open as you work.
