This morning, my family and I set out on a cross-country vacation in a rental car. Eight hours in and I’m at a gas station, desperately looking for a button or release lever for the gas tank door. The kids are fighting, my wife is trying to calm them down, and I’m beginning to get a monster headache. Please, can you tell me how to open a gas tank on a Jeep Cherokee 2021?

does not have an interior release lever. You’re going to open the gas tank door from the outside.First, unlock all the doors—if the doors are locked, the gas tank door will not open.
Now, exit the Jeep and walk around the passenger’s side of the vehicle to find the gas tank door. Next, gently press on the gas tank door, and it should pop open.
