Step 2: Look for the nearest Los Santos location marked by a spray paint can on your map.
Step 3: Drive your stolen car to this Los Santos location and pull inside.
Step 4: Choose “Sell Car” from the menu and the money will be put into your account.
Keep the following restrictions in mind when you’re selling cars in GTA 5:
You can only sell a car once per virtual day, which translates to every 48 minutes in real-time.
You can’t sell any of the stock cars that you started the game with.
Casino cars will only sell for the value of any upgrades—not for the actual value of the car itself.
Pro tip: Steal nicer cars from affluent neighborhoods in GTA 5 to get the most money when you sell them.
You can also easily get rid of lower-value cars in GTA 5 by destroying them. You may even get a bit of money if the car was covered by Mors Mutual, the fictional GTA 5
