How do you fix a car bumper falling off?

Is there a good way to fix a car bumper that's falling off? It's starting to drag a little bit, so I think it's about time I do something about it.

When your bumper’s falling off, it may be time for some major repairs. While there are cheaper options than a bumper replacement, they may not be your best plans of action. Here are a few ways you can fix a bumper that’s falling off:
  • Buy a new bumper for your car. This option can be expensive and time-consuming, as you’ll need to either install the new bumper yourself or
    pay a mechanic
    to do it for you.
  • Install a quick-release bumper like the one by All-Fit—which can turn make your bumper into a detachable car component. This could help you keep your loose bumper in place without the cost of an entirely new bumper.
  • Use zip ties or wire as a temporary fix to hold your bumper in place until you can get to the shop. Do not use this as a permanent solution. You’ll need a new bumper in the long run.
If your bumper damage resulted from an accident, your insurer may help you pay for repairs. To find out if you’re covered, call your provider and ask them!
