How do I replace a headlight bulb on a 2012 Honda Pilot?

I was driving yesterday evening and I noticed that the right headlight was out on my Honda Pilot. I’ve never replaced a bulb before. What’s the best way to replace the headlight bulb on my 2012 Honda Pilot?

Driving without a headlight can be dangerous or even result in a ticket, so switching it out is important! Fortunately, replacing a headlight bulb on your 2012
Honda Pilot
is quick and easy. To replace the headlight bulb, pop the hood, locate the bulb housing, pull it out, and replace the bulb.
If you still can’t figure it out, follow these instructions:
  1. Pop the hood
using the lever below the dashboard on the driver’s side front seat of the vehicle.
  2. Once you have the hood open, look behind the headlight inside the engine compartment. You should see a circular component where the bulb enters the headlight housing.
  3. Turn this housing counterclockwise to remove it.
  4. Hold in the small clip and pull out the old bulb.
  5. Pop the new bulb into place. Place the bulb and wiring component back into the housing.
  6. Turn clockwise to secure the bulb back in place.
If you aren’t sure what bulb to get, either remove the bulb and take it to an auto parts store or go to the auto parts store and give them your car’s make and model. They should be able to find the bulb you need within a few seconds.
After taking the time to replace your headlight bulb, why not take a few extra minutes to review your car insurance policy? With just a few spare minutes and the
