How do I put my BMW in neutral without starting it?

Help! I need to put my new BMW in neutral to get it on a tow truck but it won’t start. What should I do?

  • Find a way to get safely under the car
  • Locate the disengage screw
  • Turn the disengage screw counter-clockwise
