How do I polish the rims on a Honda?
I got a great deal on a 2021 Honda Passport Elite with all of the added options! One of my favorite aspects are the 20-inch machine-finished alloy wheels. The only problem is all of my previous cars had simple wheel covers. How can I polish the rims on my Honda?

new rims extra shiny, gather the proper equipment and follow the steps listed below.Before you begin, get the proper cleaning supplies outlined here:
- Cleaning mitt
- Several rags
- Small paintbrush
- Spray wax
- Wheel cleaner
- Tire shine (optional)
Once you’ve gathered the supplies, follow these steps:
- Wash your car as you normally would.
- If your rims are extremely dirty or full of brake dust, spray your wheel cleaner on and let it sit for about five minutes. Rinse away the excess.
- Next, dip your cleaning mitt or rag into a mixture of water and car soap.
- Use this mitt or rag to clean all the nooks and crannies of your rims.
- Take the small paintbrush and use it to clean around the lugnuts to remove any grime or brake dust.
- Wipe away the excess moisture and cleaner with a separate rag.
- Put some spray wax on a rag and polish the wheels.
- Spray the surrounding tire with tire shine if you want your tires to gleam like your rims.
