How do I open a Ford Explorer Sport Trac hood?
I feel pretty stupid asking this, but how does a Ford Explorer Sport Trac’s hood open? I need to get at my battery but I don’t know how to get the hood up.

battery issue
isn’t severe! - Locate and pull the hood release lever. You can find this lever on the lower left side panel of your car’s interior cabin. Pulling this lever releases the hood, but just slightly.
- Release the auxiliary latch. Head to the front of your vehicle, feel around the gap you just made between the hood and the grill with the hood release lever, and move the latch out of the way so the hood can open fully.
