Congratulations on your new car! The LATCH system in the rear seats allows you to easily install a car seat in a
Toyota Highlander
.Here’s how you use it:
- Use the recline lever to tilt the rear seatback to a level position. Set it at a position that allows the car seat to fit on the seat with ample space.
- Remove the headrest if needed for extra space while installing the seat.
- Locate the LATCH system anchors between the seat cushion and seatback.
- Loop the hooks on the car seat to the anchors of the LATCH system.
- Loop the remaining hook to the upper LATCH anchor located on the back of the seat if needed.
