I have a flat tire and the lug nut on my wheel won’t come off. I’m not sure what’s wrong but the lug nut is definitely broken. How do I get a broken lug nut off?

and the lug nut on your wheel is broken! It sounds like the lug nut is seized or rusted. Luckily, you can remove a lug nut following these steps:
  • Soak the nut and stud with penetrating oil like WD-40
  • Hammer the nut extractor socket down tightly
  • Attach the drive breaker bar to the nut extractor socket
  • Turn the drive breaker bar until the lug nut is free
