How do I connect to my BMW wifi?
My wife recently purchased a new BMW and was telling me about the wifi capabilities. While she’s away on business, I’ll be driving her car and I’d love to check out the feature myself. How do you connect a phone to wifi in a BMW?

Getting to use a new vehicle with cutting-edge features is always fun! The wifi capabilities in new BMW models add a whole new element of convenience to driving.
To use the wifi in a BMW, just follow these instructions:
- In the main menu, press Communication.
- From there, you will see Manage mobile devices, Connect new device, then Internet hotspot.
- The BMW’s hotspot will be discoverable for the next 120 seconds.
- Enter the required information into the device you are trying to connect.
Now that you can successfully connect to your BMW’s wifi, you can enjoy all the conveniences of the internet from your car. But always remember to keep your eyes on the road! The only thing as important as driving safely is making sure you’re adequately protected by great car insurance—without overpaying for it.
