To connect Bluetooth in a GMC Terrain
, make sure the phone’s Bluetooth is on and then use the Push to Talk button to pair the phone to the car. The good news is that all GMC Terrains have Bluetooth capability. This was a standard feature starting from the very first 2010 Terrain to hit the market.
The bad news is that not all Terrains have Bluetooth that supports music streaming. Some only offer Bluetooth for hands-free calls.
If you drive a 2012 or newer Terrain, you can probably stream music in your car. Check your owner’s manual to be certain.
Start by ensuring that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
To connect to Bluetooth, use the IntelliLink system. Press the Push to Talk button and say “Bluetooth.” This will prompt the system. Once it’s ready, it will beep and say “Bluetooth ready.” Then, you can say “Pair” to initiate the pairing process. You may need to enter a code to confirm the connection.
If you run into trouble, call your GMC dealer for assistance. Sometimes you need to delete a device and re-pair it. This is generally a simple fix but there’s no harm in asking for help!
