How can you make a four cylinder Honda Accord faster?

I drive a four-cylinder Honda Accord, a big change from my previous vehicle, a 1998 BMW M3. The Accord is more practical and it suits my lifestyle right now, but I miss having a car that’s quick and fun to drive. How can I increase my Honda’s speed?

There’s a big difference between the Accord and the gorgeous M3, but we can help shorten the gap. If you want to boost the speed of your four-cylinder Honda, then you should modify the engine, exhaust, and suspension.
Here’s what to put on your shopping list:
  • Turbocharging or supercharging engine tweaks
  • An aftermarket exhaust system
  • A cold air intake (to replace the stock air box)
  • A performance chip
  • Stiffer and lower suspension
These tweaks should make the Accord more fun to drive. But whatever you do, don’t forget to inform your car insurance provider! Your agreement might not allow you to modify all the parts on this list.
