How can I load ATVs into my truck without a ramp?
I need to get my ATVs in my truck but I don't have a ramp. How can I load them?

Without a ramp, loading your ATVs into your truck may prove difficult. However, you have a few other options.
One option would be to put your ATV on an elevated surface and back your truck up to it, provided you don’t have a
truck cap
. Put down the tailgate and simply drive your ATV onto it.You could also try using a large piece of wood or longer planks to create a makeshift ramp. However, you need to be incredibly careful if you choose to ride your ATV onto your truck and always wear your helmet.
If you can’t find an elevated spot that allows you to drive the ATV onto your truck, you could use a hill or driveway to help you lift the ATV into your truck. If your truck is pointed downwards, it may make lifting your ATV easier.
To lift your ATV into your truck, you’ll want to put down your truck’s tailgate. You’ll then want to lift the front wheels of the ATV. It may be easier to have the ATV in first gear when you do this to avoid any shifting or sliding.
Once you have the front wheels resting on the tailgate, you can lift the back wheels and push it in. If you’re concerned about lifting it, you can also place a toolbox or other sturdy item down to help hold the back of the ATV. Doing this will give your muscles a chance to rest before you lift the back up into the truck.
If possible, always have someone with you when you are attempting to load your ATVs without a ramp. You should also wear gloves and sturdy shoes to avoid slipping or injuring yourself.
