How can I get lipstick out of my Chrysler PT Cruiser interior?
I was running late to work and had to apply my makeup in the car this morning. Everything was good until I dropped my lipstick and it smeared all over my seat. How can I get lipstick out of the interior fabric in my Chrysler PT Cruiser?

with rubbing alcohol and a degreaser. Here is what you will need:- Metal straight edge: A butter knife or icing spatula will work
- Rubbing alcohol
- Degreaser: Carpet cleaner will work best; if you don’t have any handy, use a laundry stain remover
- White cloth
- Toothbrush
Then follow these simple steps:
- Carefully pick any chunks of lipstick off the upholstery
- Scrape off any remaining lipstick with your straight edge. Work towards the stain so it doesn’t spread
- Remove any excess lipstick by dabbing at the stain with a white piece of cloth
- Once no more color transfers to your cloth, pour rubbing alcohol on a new clean cloth and keep dabbing! This should clear up the bulk of the stain
- Lastly, spray on your decreaser and gently scrub the stain with the toothbrush. Keep reapplying the degreaser until the stain is gone
If your lipstick was a dark color, a rich red or purple, some trace color might remain no matter how hard you work at the stain.
