How can I get a replaced car back in GTA 5 Online?

I was asked to replace a car in my garage in order to put another one in. I thought I would be able to choose which car to swap, but it deleted the car I wanted to keep. Can I get my car back?

Oh, no! Your precious (stolen) belonging! You can try to get a replaced car back in GTA 5 Online by contacting Rockstar Games Support. There’s no other solution, unfortunately.
