Does a muffler delete void a BMW warranty?

I just had a custom paint job done on my 2021 BMW M2, and now I want to do a muffler delete so my car will sound as loud as it looks. Does a muffler delete void a BMW warranty?

If you live in a state with exhaust-noise laws, a muffler delete is an
illegal car modification you should avoid
. But in most cases, muffler deletes won’t void your BMW warranty, as long as you don’t damage the car in the process.
