I have a newer Chevy Equinox that I’d like to take with me on my next family road trip. The only issue is that I want to flat tow it behind my truck so that my family can split up during the trip to explore. Can I flat tow my Chevy Equinox?

You flat tow a Chevy Equinox in most cases. As long as you have a 1.5-liter front-wheel-drive (FWD) model or a 1.6-liter FWD model made in 2010 or later, you shouldn’t have any issues.
However, you can never flat tow an AWD Equinox model, so don’t make that mistake. Flat towing an AWD model can damage the drivetrain**. Alternatively, you can tow it with a flatbed trailer if need be.
