Can you flat tow a Chevy Colorado?

I recently purchased a motorhome and I want to take my Chevy Colorado with me on a road trip. After doing some research, I found that flat towing is the most economical way to tow the vehicle. I just don’t want to damage it. Can I flat tow my Chevy Colorado?

You can flat tow a Chevy Colorado, but only if it’s a 4x4/4WD model and the truck is in neutral. You can’t tow a rear-wheel-drive Colorado. It can damage the drivetrain and cause thousands of dollars worth of damage.
If you want to tow a rear-wheel-drive Colorado, your only option is to use a flatbed trailer. Chevy recommends that you don’t use a two-wheel dolly either, so don’t be tempted even if it is a more affordable option.
