Can I see my Toyota Tacoma’s odometer while I’m driving?

I bought a used Toyota Tacoma recently and just took it to the shop to have it serviced the other day. I only just realized that, while I’m driving, I can’t see the odometer, but I don’t know if that’s deliberate or not. Can I see my Toyota Tacoma’s odometer while I’m driving?

Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue! You should be able to see your
Toyota Tacoma’s
odometer while driving, which means something may have gotten changed around while the vehicle was being serviced or by the previous owner.
Fortunately, you should be able to make your odometer visible again by cycling through the odometer display options. To do this, you’ll need to push in the instrument dimmer switch on your dashboard and look to the bottom left of your heads-up display.
From the sound of it, your odometer display is currently switched to “Blank” and just needs to be switched back to the “ODO” setting by toggling the instrument dimmer switch.
Hope this helps!
