electric vehicles
are being announced on a regular basis. Whether you're into sleek new Teslas and their features or looking forward to cool new electric trucks, there are some awesome EVs on the way.
Here are four upcoming EVs that you don't want to miss, according to

.

Chevrolet Silverado EV

The upcoming Silverado EV is an all-new version of the gasoline-powered truck that has faced recent production setbacks amidst the chip shortage.
The Silverado EV will have a base model called the Work Trim (WT) with an MSRP of $39,900. However, the Silverado EV will also have another dazzling trim to choose from.
At the top of the list is the RST First Edition, which is geared towards luxury and performance. It's expected to go from 0-60 in under 4.5 seconds, and be a stunner at $105,000 MSRP.
There aren't too many details on the Silverado EV's specs just yet, but both trims will have the same 400-mile range. Look for the Work Trim in spring of 2023, and the RST in Fall of 2023.

Subaru Solterra

MORE: Why the 2022 Crosstrek is a Top Subcompact SUV
Another newcomer to the EV market is Subaru's first all-electric car, the Solterra. It's a four-door compact SUV that is set to have enough ground clearance to accommodate the off-road adventures that Subarus are known for.
The Solterra will have a dual-motor powertrain and symmetrical all-wheel drive, and will produce up to 215 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. It should be able to get up to an 80% charge in about an hour using DC fast charge at public charging stations.
On a full charge, the estimated range for the Solterra  is 222 miles. It'll also have a host of Subaru's driver assistance features under its EyeSight suite. It's due for release in the middle of the year with an estimated base price of $37,000.

Tesla Roadster

MORE: Which EVs Offer the Best Range? A Price-Per-Mile Comparison
While Tesla has generated a lot of buzz with their Cybertruck delays, the Roadster plans to round out the lineup as a true sports car. The new Roadster is essentially a swanky, updated version of the original Tesla vehicle that was produced from 2008-2012.
On this version, you'll find impressive stats like 0-60 in 1.9 seconds, thanks to its three motors and super fast acceleration. The Roadster will be a four-seater with a partially retractable hardtop and an impressive 620 mile range.
It was originally supposed to be built and released in 2020, but the timeline was extended. Tesla now expects to start delivering the Roadster in 2023.

Nissan Ariya

A compact SUV, the Ariya will be Nissan's first all-electric SUV. Available options will include either front- or all-wheel drive, and a standard or long-range battery.
As for performance, the front-wheel drive choice makes 238 hp, with the AWD version upping that to 389 hp. The combination of the long-range battery with all-wheel drive will have a projected range of 300 miles on a charge.
The Ariya will also have tech like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and driver-assist safety features like lane departure warning and pedestrian detection.
