Does Tesla have cars in GTA?

Although there are constant changes to the online GTA marketplace, there are currently three cars specifically designed to look and drive like Teslas. The manufacturer, Coil, is a play on words referring to the electric Tesla coil. Almost all of the Coil cars in-game are electric-powered cars, much like Teslas in the real world.

Just like Teslas, Coils are pretty expensive, so you may have to complete a couple of heists to be able to afford one! Next up, we’ll take a look at how to add a Coil car to your garage.

How do I get Tesla cars in GTA?

Coil cars are pretty expensive, as mentioned. They’re also only available in a few locations as long as you have the correct DLC installed. Here’s the breakdown of where you can get each of these Coils, Tesla-inspired or otherwise:
  • Brawler: The original version is available in your garage after installing the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC. Enhanced versions are available from Legendary Motorsport for $715,000 in Story Mode or through GTA online.
  • Cyclone: Can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for $1,890,000 in GTA online.
  • Cyclone II: Available for purchase from Legendary Motorsport for $2,250,000. Or, you can pay $475,000 for conversion at Hao’s Special Works either in GTA online or PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Raiden: Can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for $1,375,000 in GTA online.
  • Rocket Voltic: Can be purchased by CEOs with a Vehicle Warehouse from Warstock Cache & Carry for $3,830,400. Or, you can pay the $2,880,000 SecuroServ trade price after you finish the Special Vehicle Work Mission: Firewall Protection. You must have a Vehicle Warehouse or Underground Garage to store it.
  • Voltic: Both variants can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for $150,000 in GTA online.
Key Takeaway You’ll have to buy Coils through Legendary Motorsport for the most part. Once you acquire a Coil, it’ll show up in your garage.

Are Teslas good in GTA?

With super-stylish exteriors and alternative propulsion systems—even rocket propulsion!—Coils will give you a driving experience like no other in the world of GTA.
The Coil Cyclone and Cyclone II are especially worth noting. The Cyclone destroys the competition with lightning-fast acceleration, reaching top speeds of 116.25 mph. Cornering and steering aren’t as refined as some other vehicles in-game, such as the Sultan RS, but the combination of speed and quickness out of the gate makes it a great pick for street races.
The Cyclone II is best enjoyed on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S—all you have to do is take your Cyclone to Hao’s Special Works and pay for a full upgrade. It outstrips almost all of the other sports cars in the game, hitting speeds of 141 mph. The handling is exceptional, and with some of the best stats in the game, a Cyclone II is definitely worth paying for.

The three coolest Teslas in GTA

If you’re not sure which Coil to buy first, consider one of these three Tesla-inspired cars:
1. Rocket Voltic: This electric supercar literally has a rechargeable rocket boost, making it the coolest Coil vehicle in our books! It’s also based on a Tesla Roadster, at one time the fastest car in the world—the Voltic does decent homage, topping out at 124.50 mph.
2. Raiden: Based on the Tesla S, the Raiden has a top speed of 113.25 mph. A sleek, sophisticated look makes this electric sports car one of the coolest to drive in all of GTA.
3. Cyclone II: As mentioned above, the Cyclone II upgrade is the way to go if you’re itching to enter a street race. Even though it’s not technically based on a Tesla, it’s an electric supercar that tops out at 141 mph—we figure, close enough.
