Experts suggest a minimum ground clearance of at least 8.5 inches for your vehicle if you intend on using it for off-roading adventures.
All BMW G20 3 Series models from 2019 to 2022 greatly miss the mark on this ground clearance recommendation by 2.8 inches. Sedans are generally not a top choice when it comes to off-road vehicles, so the G20 would not be considered a good off-road vehicle. While the BMW G20 3 Series is a great luxury option for daily driving, the underside of your sedan will not be able to handle rocky terrain or other rough road conditions.
