With
Ford’s
focus (no pun intended) on SUVs, trucks, and hatchbacks, it’s clear that this carmaker’s name represents “big and bold” in the auto world. Although the 2019 Fusion is more of a family sedan than a gas-guzzling beast, it still fits the bill of big and bold. With its envy-inducing exterior and variety of trims, the Fusion makes style accessible to everyone.
But if you’re still looking for a fashionable step up, you might be considering wheel mods. Before you can switch out your factory wheels for a snazzy upgrade, you’ll need to have a few specs on hand, including your 2019 Ford Fusion’s bolt pattern. Read on—we’ll cover everything you need to know.

2019 Ford Fusion bolt pattern

The bolt pattern of a 2019 Ford Fusion is 5x4.25, otherwise written as 5 on 4.25. If you’ve never heard of a bolt pattern before, or you’re not sure what it is, that’s fair! No worries—it’s really simple to understand.
The numbers translate to the following:
# of bolts x diameter, in inches, of the circle they form
Your wheels will have several bolts (aka lugs) in the shape of a circle. The first number reflects the number of bolts. For the Fusion, this means it has five. The second number is the diameter. In this case, the diameter is 4.25 inches
But if you have your heart set on wheel mods, you’ll need a few other numbers as well to purchase something compatible.
  • Factory wheel size: 16 inches, 17 inches, or 18 inches depending on trim
  • Stud size: M12 x 1.5
  • Offset: 35 to 55 mm
  • Center bore: 63.4 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 135 Nm

How to measure your Ford Fusion’s bolt pattern

At this point, you should have everything you need to put some new wheels on your Fusion. But if you’re still not sure about your lug pattern, it’s quick and easy to measure it yourself at home.
It’s as simple as grabbing a ruler or measuring tape and measuring the diameter of the circle of bolts. Start your measurement on any one bolt. Since the Fusion has an odd number, measure from the center of one bolt to the far side of one of the bolts opposite of it.
This measurement is your diameter and the second number of the bolt pattern. It should be 4.25 inches.
Since the Fusion has five bolts, the first number will be five. Put it all together and you’ll get your Fusion’s bolt pattern: 5x4.25.
