What’s included
First in the lineup is adaptive cruise assist. Ideal for regular

, this feature utilizes radar, cameras, laser scanners, and ultrasonic sensors to take the environment around you to help you maintain your speed and a safe following distance. Next up is active lane assist. This feature automatically detects lane markings, roadside structures, and other vehicles to help keep your Audi in between the lines if it senses your car is veering off the road. So, if you’re fiddling too long with your infotainment system to queue up your favorite playlist and begin drifting over into the other lane, active lane assist’s steering guidance will help get you back on track.
Adaptive cruise control with Traffic jam assist is ideal for drivers who spend a lot of time behind the wheel in bumper-to-bumper traffic. With a front-facing camera, radar, and ultrasonic sensors, your Audi can lend a heavy hand in helping you navigate your way through bottlenecked traffic.
Night vision assistant is like having a second pair of eyes—ones that can see in the dark. For this feature, Audi implements a long-range infrared camera that reacts to thermal energy given off by people, animals, etc. These thermal imprints are then converted into black-and-white images that appear on your Audi’s instrument cluster or in the virtual cockpit.
It’s safe to say that parallel parking is nobody’s idea of a good time, and Audi’s team of engineers created their parking system plus system to help make the process just a little bit easier. When you’re close to bumping into something you shouldn’t be, your Audi will beep and display a visual warning on its MMI® display.
And lastly, there’s Audi side assist. This feature uses two rear-mounted radar sensors that scan for approaching vehicles to let you know when there’s something in your blind spot by illuminating a warning light on your exterior rearview mirror.
