As has been in the case in much of human history, two things can steal the show from the leading actor: cool cars and cute mutts. It’s a double-threat for Channing Tatum in his latest release.
In Dog, Channing Tatum plays Army Ranger Jackson Briggs, who finds himself paired with Lulu the Belgian Malinois dog—partly inspired by Tatum’s real-life pet—on a Pacific Coast road trip in Briggs’ 1984

What do we know about Channing Tatum’s Ford Bronco in ‘Dog’?

Let’s get back to Tatum’s ride in Dog. In 1984, the Ford Bronco was well into its third generation, with the company boasting its weight-savings, fuel efficiency and abundance of interior options compared with previous generations.
Tatum’s Bronco appears to be an XLT model sporting a Deluxe Tu-Tone paint scheme in medium blue metallic and polar white, capped with white fiberglass roof. Ford marketed this model year as a “great vehicle for off-road hunting and fishing excursions, or vacationing with your trailer in tow.”
The company also offered a snow plow package for this model year with a heavy duty front axle and springs, front stabilizer bar and heavy duty rear shocks.

Maniacal markups for the new version of the Ford Bronco

The Bronco has been stealing hearts since its 1965 debut, the favorite of many fan clubs, enthusiast groups and, of course, road trippers. Ford’s Bronco revival announcement helped reignite some of that hype for the new iteration.
The new Bronco has finally been popping up in dealerships everywhere—often accompanied by shady markup practices—as the company delivers its Jeep Wrangler competitor.
But these markups aren’t really anything new, nor are they limited to Ford. Since direct-to-consumer sales have been banned in many places, a middle-man is often necessary until the industry disrupts that model further.
