Note that larger vehicles, vans, trucks, SUVs are prohibited from parking in the first five rows.

How to hear the movie

Snacks

If you look at the Delsea’s menu, it will be hard to tell if you’re at a restaurant or a drive-in movie theater! Their menu highlights include chicken parmesan, cheesesteaks, pierogies, and all the traditional movie theater snacks. There is also an extensive list of gluten-free options.
If still nothing catches your eye, they offer $20 food permits if you would like to bring in your own food.
Gates open two hours before showtime, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy a meal before the movie gets rolling.

FAQs

As of 2021, Newark Moonlight Cinema and Delsea Drive-In Theatre are the only two operating drive-ins in New Jersey.
No, you don’t need to leave your car on throughout the movie. Most theaters require you to have your engine and lights off while the film is rolling.
Running the car for a few minutes after you park should give you enough power to last the length of the movie. If your battery does run out, a fellow moviegoer should be able to
help you jumpstart it
.
Drive-ins typically do not cancel movies in the event of light weather, but will if the rain is enough to affect the movie-goers experience. Make sure to check the drive-in’s website for full weather policies.
