Why does the Dodge Challenger Demon’s exhaust sound so intense?
My coworker has the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and I’ve never heard a car sound like that. When he revs that thing, it seriously sounds like an animal growling or something. Why is the Dodge Demon’s exhaust so loud? Could I do the same on my own car?

Dodge
Demon is well known for its unique and dramatic exhaust sound, affectionately referred to as “the Demon’s Roar.” The unique sound is the result of the Demon’s revolutionary torque reserve launch system. Sadly, it’s not really something you’ll be able to recreate in another type of vehicle.The torque reserve launch system works by allowing increased air to flow through the engine prior to launch. This, in turn, boosts supercharger RPMs while not putting too much pressure on the brakes or spinning the back tires.
The result is a truly demonic growl and roar sound as the car revs and launches.
