Where is the GMC Terrain made?

I’ve read that GMC started moving some of its operations overseas. I’ve always been a fan of American-made goods, but I’m also in love with the GMC Terrain. I’m not necessarily sure which one would overrule the other, but I’d like to know where the car is made—where does GMC make the Terrain?

Due to a lack of available facilities in the United States, the GMC Terrain is made at the GM San Luis Potosi Plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. While this certainly saves money in terms of overhead, the lack of production capabilities shouldn’t come as a shock considering the rapid expansion of GM’s lineup, especially into the SUV and EV markets.
However, every GMC Terrain is still held to the same quality standards in Mexico as in the United States. Don’t stress about getting a lemon—your Mexican-made Terrain should be just fine.
Since you’re taking a minute to learn more about where the GMC Terrain is made, why not take a few minutes more to lower your
