- Hop on I-94 East out of Minnesota
- Continue on I-90 East near Tomah, Wisconsin
- Just outside of Rockford, Illinois, stay right to continue on I-39 South
- In Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, merge onto I-55 South/I-74 East
- Continue on I-74 East until Champaign
- Take exit 179A for I-57 South
- Take exit 44 for I-24 East
- Near Chattanooga, take exit 185A for I-75 South
