Grand Cherokee’s owner’s manual here are the recommendations you’d find:- For 2.0L and 3.6L engines: Use regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.
- For 5.7L engines: Unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 to 89 is recommended.
Jeep Grand Cherokees and flex fuels don’t mix: On all these engine types, you should avoid using E-85 flex fuels or fuel blends that contain more than 15% ethanol, as you could risk damaging fuel system components—and it could even void your warranty.
