Is a 734 credit score good for a car loan?

I’ve been considering refinancing my car loan, but I want to make sure it’s a good idea first. My credit score is 734, which is an improvement from my previous score of 708. Will this get me a good loan rate or should I keep trying to raise my score first?

Congrats on raising your score! It’s ultimately up to you to decide if you’d like to keep working on your credit score before taking out a loan but a 734 credit score is considered good, meaning you’ll qualify for a
good interest rate
if you apply right now.
On average, people with your credit score were given a 3.64% interest rate on new car loans and a 5.35% interest rate on used car loans. While you likely won’t qualify for a 0% APR loan with a 734, you’ll still be able to find a good rate if you shop around with a few different lenders!
