How long it takes to change a transmission will vary based on the make and model of your vehicle, but on average, it should take more than three or four days.
Most newer vehicles can change their transmission within a day or two, but some older models or finicky cars can take three to four days.
Having the transmission replaced on your vehicle is a big (and expensive) job, so you’ll want to be sure that’s the problem before you rush to have it fixed.
