How do you remove a Bluetooth device from a Honda Civic?

I just picked up a used Honda Civic from the dealership and noticed two phones from the previous owner saved to Bluetooth. How do I delete them?

Having the Bluetooth devices of a previous car owner is never ideal—but deleting them is simple! **To remove a Bluetooth device from a
Honda Civic
, follow these steps:
  • Press the Phone button on the Options menu.
  • Navigate to Phone Steup and press to confirm.
  • Select Bluetooth Setup.
  • Select Delete Device.
  • Scroll to the paired device you want to delete and click.
  • Select Yes to confirm the deletion.
There you go—you’ve successfully removed a paired Bluetooth device from your Honda Civic!
With some Honda Civic models, the process may be different. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
  • Turn your Civic’s radio ON.
  • Press the phone button icon located on the right side of the radio/multimedia screen.
  • Select Phone Setup.
  • Use the radio dial to scroll to find System Clear.
  • Select Bluetooth Setup.
  • Use the radio dial to scroll to Delete Device.
  • Once you select the device you want to delete, click Yes to confirm.
Once you’ve deleted inactive phones, be sure to connect your phone through Bluetooth to avoid fidgeting with your phone on the road—it can land you a
distracted driving ticket
and a hefty increase to your
car insurance
premium!
