Avoiding detection from the cops is a smart move in GTA 5, especially because the situation can escalate so quickly. To learn how to work the tow truck in GTA 5, follow these steps:
- To find a tow truck you can use, head to Dignity Village located on the north side of Mount Chilead.
- Hop into the tow truck by hitting Y on your Xbox controller or triangle on PS.
- Go to the area where the car is.
- Use the left analog stick on Xbox or on PS to raise or lower the hitch by moving the stick up or down.
- Back up to the car you want. The hitch should attach automatically. Use the left analog stick to raise the car up.
- Drive to where you want the car.
- Once you have the car where you want it, press on the right directional pad to release it.
