How do I open the gas tank on a 2008 Audi A4?
I’m borrowing my brother’s 2008 Audi A4 for the weekend and I’ve never driven it before. When I went to fuel it up, I couldn’t figure out how to open the gas tank! How does it work?

Accessing the gas tank is a little different on certain cars! To open the gas tank on a 2008
Audi A4
, leave the car doors unlocked and then manually press the lower right-hand side of the fuel door. This should get the fuel door to pop open. There are several Audi models from the late 2000s and beyond that aren’t equipped with a fuel door release button inside the vehicle. Just remember that if you press on the outside of the fuel door while your A4’s car doors are locked, the fuel door will also be locked.
