How do I lock my car on GTA 5 online?

I’ve spent lots of time and money upgrading my car in GTA 5 online, only to have it stolen time and time again. Is there a way I can lock my car to prevent it from being stolen?

Spending lots of money and time to upgrade your car is a nightmare if other people are always stealing it. Fortunately, you can lock your car. Follow these steps to learn how to lock your car on GTA 5 online:
  1. Swipe the touchpad to enter the interaction menu.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the list.
  3. Find Vehicle Access.
  4. From here, you can select who gets into your car. Select between No One (except for you), Everyone, Crew, Friends, or Crew + Friends.
