Are brakes and rotors covered under my Toyota warranty?

Does the standard Toyota warranty cover brakes and rotors? I think my car is having brake problems, but I can’t afford to get them fixed right now unless they’re covered under warranty.

Unfortunately, the standard Toyota warranty typically will not cover brakes and rotors unless there was a factory defect that caused one of these parts to fail. Otherwise, problems with the brakes and rotors are considered to be the result of normal wear and tear and are therefore not covered by Toyota’s warranty.
If you’re not sure whether
your brake pads and shoes are worn out
or you have a problem with the brakes themselves, you can always visit a mechanic for an assessment and a quote. This will give you more information about the condition of your car.
