The BMW i4
The BMW i4 is one of the most exciting EVs on the list. This sedan comes in two versions: the eDrive40 and the M50.
The eDrive40 offers 335 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, and it has an impressive range of about 300 miles. Meanwhile, the M50 offers all-wheel drive, 536 horsepower, and can go from 0 to 60 in under a minute. Its range, however, is only 245 miles.
The i4 starts at around $55,000 and will be on the market in early 2022.

The Cadillac Lyriq

The Cadillac Lyriq is another new EV getting some good buzz, although people do wonder why it doesn't offer a front trunk common in many EVs. The Lyriq is part of GM's massive effort to up its EV production, as they pour billions of dollars into making their vehicle lineup greener.
This SUV is similar in size to Cadillac's XT6, but it's a few inches lower and longer than its relative. It has 340 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, along with a gigantic 33-inch LED display.
Range on the Lyriq should be around 300 miles, which is pretty good for an electric vehicle. It's expected to be up for sale in the first few months of 2023 at a starting price of just under $60,000.
The Ford F-150 Lightning
Maybe you're not really looking for an electric sedan or SUV—you might prefer a truck instead.
If so, you'll certainly want to consider the Ford F-150 Lightning. It comes with your choice of configurations, offering either 426 or 563 horsepower. The standard battery provides 230 miles of range, while the extended-range version should provide around 300 miles.
Unlike the Lyriq, this Ford truck does have a front trunk, or "frunk," for extra storage. Both the frunk and bed come with power plugs, which can be handy in all sorts of situations. In addition, it's great for hauling and towing. It comes with a 2,000-pound payload capacity on the standard range version and a massive 10,000-pound tow capacity on the extended range.
The starting price on the F-150 Lightning is around $40,000 but can climb up to $90,000 depending on the model and features.
